Luka Doncic’s exceptional performances thus far this NBA season have been making headlines. The Slovenian has performed admirably, and the NBA community as a whole has been in awe of his performances. So much so that the youngster’s new teammate Christian Wood can’t stop praising him for his heroics this season.

Many predicted that the Slovenian would win the MVP before the season even started, and his performances have not let his fans down. He has caused havoc for defenses and is unquestionably one of the NBA’s best scorers right now. In addition to his offensive prowess, he has a solid passing sense and a high basketball IQ. He leads the Mavericks and takes most of the possessions because his ability to move the ball is unparalleled among younger stars in the league.

The Dallas Mavericks, who have risen to fifth place in the Western Conference and are doing much better at the moment in comparison to how they started the season, are also getting good wins off of late thanks to Doncic’s sensational performances.

The Mavericks have won seven of their last ten games, mostly thanks to Doncic’s outstanding play. However, overall, the franchise’s morale has been lifted by the victories. The Slovenian shot 51.9 percent from the field and averaged 39.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 8.9 assists during this period. His all-time best performance came against the New York Knicks, when he scored 60 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, and had 10 assists.

In an interview with NBA Twitter Mark Medina, teammate Christian Wood, who has been extremely impressed by Luka Doncic, discussed his thoughts on the youngster. Wood revealed that he has never witnessed a player perform like Doncic in his entire career.

That is the most impressive thing a player has accomplished in my entire career. I played with numerous guys, including Luka and Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, I had never witnessed Giannis score 60-20-10. That’s unprecedented,” the former Houston Rockets player stated.

Players such as Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant, Jayson Tataum, and others are the league’s upcoming stars, and they seem like they are all set to take over. This season, Doncic has been in superb form, consistently delivering outstanding performances. Doncic is one of the favorites to win the prestigious MVP award this season, averaging 34.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.6 steals.
